What Yoink does
Yoink scans publicly listed items on Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree and Carsales, estimates a fair market price from comparable listings, and alerts you when a listing looks under-priced relative to that estimate.
What Yoink isn't
- We're not affiliated with Facebook, Gumtree, Carsales, or any other marketplace. We don't imply partnership.
- We don't host listings. Every alert links you to the source page; the seller and transaction are between you and them.
- Estimates are statistical, not appraisals. We show a confidence band so you can judge for yourself.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe and for the alerts your saved searches generate. Pause or delete any search at /searches.
Billing
We bill through Stripe in USD. A 7-day trial starts at signup on the Pro tier with a card on file — Stripe charges you when the trial ends unless you cancel. Cancel anytime via the Stripe Customer Portal linked in your settings. Stripe Smart Retries handles failed payments. We don't store card numbers.
SMS
SMS alerts are opt-in via OTP verification. We log each consent change with timestamp and IP and retain that record for at least 6 years (Spam Act 2003 requirement). Reply STOP to any Yoink SMS to opt out instantly.
Acceptable use
- Don't resell, scrape, or systematically download Yoink data.
- Don't use Yoink to harass sellers or to spam contact forms.
- One human per account.
Takedowns & complaints
Email [email protected] for any takedown request, copyright claim, or complaint. We aim to action legitimate takedown requests within 24 hours.
Liability
We provide Yoink as-is, with no warranty as to listing accuracy, availability of any source, or fitness for any purchase decision. To the extent allowed by AU law, our liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the prior 12 months.
Governing law
New South Wales, Australia.
